Revelation 6:8-10

⁸ Then I looked, and behold, a ^(A)pale horse; and he who sits on it had the name ^(B)Death, and ^(C)Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, ^(D)to kill with sword and with famine and with ^[a]pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.

⁹ And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw ^(E)underneath the ^(F)altar the ^(G)souls of those who had been slain ^(H)because of the word of God, and because of the ^(I)witness which they had maintained; ¹⁰ and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “^(J)How long, O ^(K)Master, ^(L)holy and true? ^[b]Will You not ^(M)judge and avenge our blood on ^(N)those who dwell on the earth?”
